Unlimited Theatre are a talented bunch of people based out of the West Yorkshire Playhouse in Leeds. Their aim is to educate and entertain in equal measure through their innovative shows.

I was brought into the project by a client, Dean Vipond. Dean was responsible for the design and aesthetics of the user experience and it was my job to bring that vision to life, in a responsive build that had to not look like it was a WordPress site. It had to be bold, visual and engaging to try and hint at the spectacle that Unlimited produces.

This was my first responsive build and it’s packed full of custom post types, custom side bars and little nuances like the topic tag cloud. It’s based on the Bones starter theme and was a great introduction into the challenges of responsive sites.
